Bondi HipstersAn Australian version on Old Spice’s popular and hilarious ‘Mom Song,‘ the US television commercial airing all this year has been created and released, performed by The Bondi Hipsters, from Sydney, Australia. If you don’t yet know the Bondi Hipsters, take a look and enjoy.

Australian brand manager for Old Spice, Rachael Read mentioned: “We are thrilled to release ‘Man Song’, a locally created music video, inspired by viral Old Spice ad ‘Mom Song’, today. The unique tension point between mums and their sons as they transition from boyhood to manhood proved rich creative territory for us.  By bringing this to life creatively with the Bondi Hipsters we were able to remind guys of how Old Spice can help them navigate this unique journey in a fun, shareable and uniquely Australian way.”

Hausmann Communications is the creative and PR agency for the campaign.

The Bondi Hipsters, Christiaan Van Vuuren and Nick Boshier broke through via YouTube in 2012, and were the face of excellent fashion website The Iconic.

They then scored a show on Australia’s ABC2.
